About the National Immediate Payment System (PIN)

The /gx technological solution connects with the Immediate Payment System (PIN), which allows interbank transfers in real time (immediate settlement) 24x7 between entities that have access to the SINPE network. There are currently more than 109 participating entities from different sectors.

External Transaction Manager /gx Modules

Through SINPE Account Management, your Entity has an electronic means to know the information relevant to your reserve accounts held by the Central Bank of Costa Rica, such as available balance and account statements. The ACS module of /gx, provides you with a great facility to consult such information, creating the opportunity for your Entity to automate the extraction of account statements and balances, as an input to your internal controls, in the assurance of your available balances, with the purpose of maintaining the operation of your services in SINPE.

  • Through this module, your Entity will be able to send the information reports requested by the Central Bank to all the Entities authorized to participate in the Foreign Exchange Market.

  • The MONEX Report Manager (ARM) module allows your Entity to have a tool to send reports on exchange rates, foreign currency position, details of foreign exchange transactions and their consolidation, taking as input the information generated by your Entity's foreign exchange system, as a result of the purchase and sale of foreign currency to your clients.

  • The function of Debit Authorizations is to manage the direct debit orders that were sent or received from the National Electronic Payments System (SINPE), so that your Entity does not have problems when sending direct debits to the accounts of other Financial Entities or when authorizing direct debits on your customers' accounts, regardless of whether the processing is in batches or in real time.

  • The ADB module of /gx is in charge of providing you with the tools to operate the Automatic Debit Authorization (ADA) service of SINPE, in each of its stages, according to BCCR regulations.

  • The Other Securities Clearing House (COV) service of the National Electronic Payments System is designed so that financial institutions can collect documents classified as "other securities" issued by other financial institutions, which are received by their customers.

  • The COV module of /gx provides a manager that allows you to operate the different stages established by the electronic standard of the service and norms of the Central Bank of Costa Rica.

  • The Real Time Transfers service integrates your Entity's internal systems with the Transfer of Funds to Third Parties Service of the National Electronic Payments System (TFT).

  • The TFT Service of the National Electronic Payments System allows the mobilization of funds between customer accounts of different financial institutions and is performed in real time, i.e., after the transaction is sent by the National Electronic Payments System, the accreditation to the destination customer takes seconds and can be requested within the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., processed as established by each institution.

  • The TFO Service implements all the controls and complies with all the requirements indicated in the Electronic Standard issued by the National Electronic Payments System for this service, always interacting with its "Core Banking" through simple interfaces so that the TFO Service can control the entire transaction cycle.

This service allows you to integrate your institution's internal systems with the Check Clearing and Settlement Service of the National Electronic Payments System (CLC).

The CCH module of /gx is related to the CLC service of the National Electronic Payments System, so that financial entities can collect checks received from their clients, but drawn on other entities, in a manual mode or integrated to their internal check managers, according to the scope established in the electronic standard of the service, of the Central Bank of Costa Rica.

The CDI module integrates your Entity's internal systems with the National Electronic Payments System and RACSA's Interdata Service, to access in real time the information of national individuals and resident individuals, respectively.

The information of national individuals is provided through the infrastructure of the National Electronic Payments System, where the validity of this information is of the Supreme Court of Elections. Equivalently, the information of resident individuals is provided through the RACSA infrastructure, but its validity is supported by the Dirección General de Migración y Extranjería (General Directorate of Migration and Foreigners).

Direct Credits allow the integration of your Entity's internal systems with the Direct Credit Clearing Service (CCD) of the National Electronic Payments System.

The relationship of the gx CRD service will be with the CCD service of the National Electronic Payments System, which is designed to massively credit financial products (such as savings or checking accounts) of individuals or legal entities in any Entity in the country, using a valid IBAN, whose operation of the service can be done autonomously, directed by users or manually using standardized files.

Direct Debits allow you to integrate your Entity's internal systems with the Direct Debit Clearing Service of the National Electronic Payments System (CDD).

The relationship of the CRD service of /gx will be with the CCD Service of the National Electronic Payments System, which is designed to process massive collections on savings or current accounts of individuals or legal entities in any Entity in the country, using a valid IBAN, both between individuals and third parties, through automatic debit authorizations, where the operation of the service can be performed autonomously, directed by users or manually using standardized files.

Real Time Debits allow the integration of your Entity's internal systems with the Real Time Debit Service (DTR) of the National Electronic Payments System (SINPE), in an agile, secure, and efficient manner.

The DBR Service of /gx is designed to process collections on savings or checking accounts of individuals or legal entities in any Entity in the country, in reversible and non-reversible mode (in complement with GAUDI), as stipulated by the Central Bank of Costa Rica in its regulations, promoting a high automation of business transactions in your Entity, dedicating more time to create business, than in resolving technical aspects.

Costa Rica's digital signature services simplify the authentication and signing of documents through its integration with the Digital Authentication Manager (GAUDI) of the Central Bank of Costa Rica (BCCR).

This module provides services that can be integrated to your entity's platforms, with the purpose of promoting the use of digital signatures as a means of authentication and signature, both for documents and transactions, providing legal support to a wide variety of electronic media (xml, Microsoft files, pdf, OpenOffice), thus achieving the physical replacement of paperwork by digital media with the same authenticity.

The Central Bank of Costa Rica, through its Payment System regulation, establishes the scope of operation of the Simplified File Accounts (CES), for the entities participating in SINPE.

The PUC module of /gx, is directly related to the service exposed in SINPE to obtain the information of a holder as defined by the electronic standard of the service, as an input for decision making in its Entity, at the moment of offering financial products to its clients, whose requested requirements are more simplified, with the purpose of promoting the national bancarization.

The PMB service provides the capacity to carry out micro-payments through a wallet offered by the entities participating in the National Electronic Payments System, aimed at both individuals and companies, which promote the national economy.

The PMB module of /gx, is directly related to the service, to be a wallet affiliation manager according to the scope of the electronic standard of the Central Bank of Costa Rica and payment system regulations. It also allows you to monitor payments sent and received in your institution, under a real-time model, 24/7, both from your authenticated channels (online banking platforms, omnichannel, mobile applications of your institution), and unauthenticated (through commands sent via SMS/Whatsapp).

Immediate Payments allows you to integrate your Entity's internal systems with the Immediate Payments (PIN) service of the National Electronic Payments System (SINPE), in an agile, secure and efficient manner, with the purpose of operating both in participating entities located in Costa Rica, as well as at a Regional level, in a 24/7 model.

The PIN module of /gx is designed to process the payments of your financial products over the SINPE service, addressing both the national and regional and hybrid model, based on the scope established in the electronic standard of the service, providing your Entity with the capacity to operate in real time, 24/7.

In the operational business line of your Entity, the scenario may arise where it is necessary to perform recurring operations, whose origin is triggered from a Treasury or Accounting area (i.e., internal).

The PTS module of /gx offers SINPE expert users of your Entity, the ability to schedule real time and deferred transactions, under operationally defined frequencies, in order to simplify the issuance of transactions to your customers.

Costa Rica's electronic seal services simplify the operation of signing documents on behalf of your Entity or corporate sector, through its integration to the Digital Authentication Manager (GAUDI) of the Central Bank of Costa Rica (BCCR).

This module provides services that can be integrated to your entity's platforms, in order to promote the use of electronic seals as a means of signing documents, transactions and reports, providing legal support to a wide variety of electronic media (xml, Microsoft files, pdf, OpenOffice), thus achieving the physical replacement of paper by digital media with the same authenticity.

With this service, your entity will be able to integrate its systems and processes with the services developed by the Technical Secretariat of Digital Government (STGD) to automate the procedures carried out by government institutions. At the moment, the only service enabled by the STGD is the one designed to manage the guarantees of participation, compliance and collateral, which a supplier must provide to participate in a tender for the acquisition of products or services published by a government institution.

The /gx DMS module implements all the controls to manage electronic guarantees for the Integrated Public Procurement System (SICOP), complying with all the requirements indicated in the Electronic Standards issued by the STGD.

The regulations of the National Electronic Payments System (SINPE) establish as a mandatory requirement that participating entities have the capacity to mobilize funds between their reserve accounts through the Interbank Funds Transfer service.

The TFI module of /gx is related to the service to enable your Entity to mobilize funds from your reserve accounts to any entity participating in SINPE, in a secure, efficient, and agile manner.

A bank that guarantees control, follow-up, and execution

Banco Davivienda Costa Rica selected the platform to centralize the entire operation with SINPE to send and receive financial transactions, ensuring at all times an adequate control, monitoring and efficient execution of them. PEL was acquired by BD Consultores and its /gx solution was added to the /bdigital solutions.
